Step 01 · Add your photo

Start with one clear, front-facing photo

A clear photo makes facial proportions easier to understand. Keep your whole face visible, use even light, and leave filters off.

  • Face the camera directly
  • Keep your full face visible

See the observations behind a 5.5 score

This sample uses the portrait shown and the scores from one completed analysis. The observations are shortened for display. It is an example, not a result for a photo you select above.

Overall PSL-style estimate

The features appear balanced in this front-facing portrait. The jawline is defined, while flat lighting softens the visible cheek and jaw contours.

Overall PSL-style estimate

Portrait used for this sample analysis

Facial harmony

5.5

The eyes, nose and mouth appear balanced within the face outline, without one feature dominating the overall impression.

Symmetry

6.0

The eyes and eyebrows look horizontally aligned in this straight-on pose, with a similar jaw outline on both sides.

Eye area

5.0

Prominent eyebrows frame evenly spaced eyes. The upper eyelids are visible under this lighting.

Midface structure

5.0

The nose appears straight, with balanced-looking space between the nose and mouth in this view.

Jaw and chin

5.5

The jawline is discernible and the chin gives the lower face a slightly square outline. Light stubble helps define its boundary.

Facial contour

5.0

The overall outline is clear. Flat frontal light reduces the shadows that would make cheek and jaw definition more apparent.

Standout strengths

  • Similar-looking feature placement on the left and right sides in this pose.
  • A defined jawline and prominent eyebrows that frame the face.

Ideas to try

  • Try gentle light from an angle to make the facial contours easier to see.
  • Keep the stubble neat, or try a slightly longer length to compare its effect on the jaw outline.

What affects this photo

  • Flat, diffuse lighting softens the appearance of depth around the cheeks and jaw.
  • Upper eyelid exposure is visible; this is an observation, not a problem to correct.

How to read your Mogged Up score

The overall score summarizes the model's impression; it is not an arithmetic average of the six category scores. A 5.5 result falls in our Strong band. The label summarizes the rating, while the six explanations tell you what the model noticed.

  • 0-3.9 · Developing
  • 4.0-5.4 · Balanced
  • 5.5-6.6 · Strong
  • 6.7-8.0 · Distinctive

These are this product's display bands, not population percentiles. Read the category explanations before treating a difference between two scores as meaningful; camera setup and AI variation can change the result.

What your face analysis includes

Your free analysis includes the score and the explanation together. Read the overall impression first, then the details that matter for your photo.

01

Your overall rating

A score from zero to eight sums up the model's impression of your portrait. A named band makes it easier to read; the score guide below explains the ranges.

02

The reasons behind the number

Read separate observations on harmony, symmetry, eyes, midface, jaw and chin, and contour. Each category pairs a score with an explanation, so you can see what the model noticed.

03

A practical thing to try next

Look for suggestions about light, camera position, expression or grooming. Choose an idea that fits your goal and compare it with what you can see in the photo.

04

A report for you to read and keep

Copy your full report or download it as TXT. Share a separate score card without the source photo. There is no public leaderboard.

When a face rating needs more explanation

Use the written observations to answer a specific question about your portrait, rather than chase a higher number.

Why does my jaw look softer in this photo?

Read the jaw, chin and contour observations together. Frontal light can soften shadows, while stubble can make an outline more visible. Use that context to decide whether to change your photo setup before changing your grooming.

What should I change before taking another selfie?

Look for comments on framing, expression and light. Try one change at a time, such as moving the camera to eye level or facing a window. The report offers ideas to test, not a guaranteed score increase.

What does a lower category score actually mean?

Read its explanation beside the overall result. A lower eye-area score, for example, may discuss visible eyelids or brow framing. It is one part of the model's reading, not an instruction to fix your face.

From one portrait to a written explanation

The analysis follows three steps. Photo selection stays local until you confirm the submission.

  1. 1

    Start with one face

Choose a clear, front-facing photo with one adult face, even light, and no heavy filter.

  2. 2

    Let AI review your photo

Confirm the person is an adult and you have photo permission. Submitting sends a smaller, metadata-stripped copy for AI analysis across six facial categories.

  3. 3

    Read your score and report

Read your score, six category explanations and suggested next steps. The full report is included at no charge; copy it or download it as TXT.

For a useful repeat photo, keep camera distance, angle and lighting similar. Change one thing at a time.

Know what happens to your photo

Choosing a photo opens it in your browser. An analysis submission sends a smaller copy through private storage and BeatAPI to the vision model. It is not on-device-only processing.

  1. 01

    Choose your image

Select a JPG, PNG, or WebP photo under 10 MB.

  2. 02

    Prepare and analyze

Your browser resizes the image and removes metadata before upload. The model receives a temporary image link through BeatAPI.

  3. 03

    Save the result

Your score and report are saved separately from the photo. A private access token controls ownership; detailed report access is checked separately.

  4. 04

    Clean up the input

We try to delete the uploaded photo after processing. A 24-hour storage expiry rule is a fallback, not an instant-deletion guarantee. It does not control the model provider's retention.
